Tessa Hall is a self-taught artist and surface pattern designer in the USA. Her style is one that continues to emerge and grow.
Her interest for surface pattern design was sparked while living abroad in Hong Kong. As she would visit the fabric markets of Hong Kong, she would notice various designs on fabric, she wondered how she could get her art work onto fabric as well… that did not happen until she returned to the United States. Once she returned to the United States, she began to pursue her new found interest in surface pattern design as she discovered sites like Spoonflower, Zazzle, and Greeting Card Universe.
Tessa has been a student of the renowned Textile Design Laboratory of Pattern Observer, and is a member of The Surface Pattern Design Guild. She has designed work for Foliage Inc. Studios in New York City’.
